Early symptoms of nasopharyngeal cancer can easily be confused with those of common colds or flu. Therefore, nasopharyngeal cancer screening can effectively identify early-stage patients, allowing them to plan and receive treatment as soon as possible, thereby improving treatment outcomes.

Even without a family history, habits such as smoking, frequent consumption of preserved foods (e.g., salted fish), or prolonged exposure to formaldehyde-containing environments may increase the risk of developing nasopharyngeal cancer.
